Pepe Salvia

Pepe Salvia was born in Buenos Aires in 1969.

He studied Film Director at the FUC (Film University)

He has produced several films of great recognition in the Film Industry, among which stand out: “Buenos Aires 100 KM”, “El último verano de la boyita”, “Maria y el Araña”, “El día trajo la oscuridad” and “Cómo ganar enemigos”, among others. Salvia has also directed and produced several documentary films such as “Cuento Chino Clasista y Combativo”, “Tras la Pantalla” and “Libertad Mar del Plata”.

Pepe Salvia is a member of the Independent Film Project Association (PCI) that brings together the most important film directors of the Argentine Republic, being a founding member and forming part of the Board of Directors in an uninterrupted way since its foundation; He was Vice President in several opportunities and President in the Period 2010-2012.

Being also an active member of the Documentary Film Community, he has participated in the process of documentary film growth in Argentina, forming part of the First Documentary Film Evaluation Committee of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), and the First Committee of Appeals of Documentary Films in the period 2006-2010.

Since 2016, he is a member of the INCAA Credits Committee; and it has also been during the 2013-2014 period.

Salvia was part of the Advisory Board of INCAA on behalf of the film directors during the period 2014-2016; and was a member of the Credit Committee for films that ended in 2012.

In 2005 he was Jury of the Short Films Competition in the Latin American Festival of San Rafael, Mendoza. In the same year, he was Film Jury for finishing at the Latin American Festival “Cero Latitud” of Quito, Ecuador.

Currently, Pepe Salvia after finishing shooting the feature film “The father of my children”, works on other projects as Producer: “El cielo sobre Riace” and “El silencio del cazador”

Julieta Sánchez

Julieta Sánchez was born on July 22, 1990 in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Between 2008 and 2013, she studied Audiovisual Arts with orientation in Realization, at the University of Fine Arts in La Plata.
She continued her studies at the SICA Vocational Training Center during the years 2013 and 2014. Later, she improved her knowledge of Switcher’s TV and Operation Management at FECIC with the supervision of filmmaker Jorge Montero.
In 2016, she made the Intensive Seminar “Writing and Producing for Cinema and TV”, by the producer Pablo Culell and the screenwriter Jorge Maestro.
She took Audiovisual Technical English courses, organized by BASET in the Audiovisual District, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. She also studied French at the Alliance Française of Buenos Aires, reaching an intermediate level.
In 2017 she received a scholarship from the DAC (Argentine Cinematographic Directors) and did the Professional Update Seminar on Audiovisual Media.
In March of that same year, she worked as General Coordinator of Production of the feature film “El padre de mis hijos”, directed by Martín Desalvo.
In 2016, she took part of the production team of the film “Pescador”, directed by José Glusman and with the performance of Darío Grandinetti. In that same year, she worked as Production Manager of the documentary “El cielo sobre Riace” directed by Damián Olivito and shot in different locations in Argentina and Italy.
As a producer she has also produced: “En París”, web series directed by Gabriel Lichtmann, “Culpable” short film directed by Martín Desalvo, and videoclip “Malasia” from Las Armas Bs. As directed by Florencia Brocchi.
She also worked as a filmmaker and screenwriter in the short film “Hay algo que quiero leerte”, with performances by María Ibarreta and María Dupláa.
In 2018, she worked as executive producer in the film “El silencio del cazador”, shot in the province of Misiones, Argentina, with performances by Pablo Echarri, Alberto Ammann and César Bordon, whose premiere is scheduled for 2019.
