Pepe Salvia

Pepe Salvia was born in Buenos Aires in 1969.

He studied Film Director at the FUC (Film University)

He has produced several films of great recognition in the Film Industry, among which stand out: “Buenos Aires 100 KM”, “El último verano de la boyita”, “Maria y el Araña”, “El día trajo la oscuridad” and “Cómo ganar enemigos”, among others. Salvia has also directed and produced several documentary films such as “Cuento Chino Clasista y Combativo”, “Tras la Pantalla” and “Libertad Mar del Plata”.

Pepe Salvia is a member of the Independent Film Project Association (PCI) that brings together the most important film directors of the Argentine Republic, being a founding member and forming part of the Board of Directors in an uninterrupted way since its foundation; He was Vice President in several opportunities and President in the Period 2010-2012.

Being also an active member of the Documentary Film Community, he has participated in the process of documentary film growth in Argentina, forming part of the First Documentary Film Evaluation Committee of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), and the First Committee of Appeals of Documentary Films in the period 2006-2010.

Since 2016, he is a member of the INCAA Credits Committee; and it has also been during the 2013-2014 period.

Salvia was part of the Advisory Board of INCAA on behalf of the film directors during the period 2014-2016; and was a member of the Credit Committee for films that ended in 2012.

In 2005 he was Jury of the Short Films Competition in the Latin American Festival of San Rafael, Mendoza. In the same year, he was Film Jury for finishing at the Latin American Festival “Cero Latitud” of Quito, Ecuador.

Currently, Pepe Salvia after finishing shooting the feature film “The father of my children”, works on other projects as Producer: “El cielo sobre Riace” and “El silencio del cazador”

Nicolás Capola


Nicolás Capola was born in Buenos Aires and has lived in Tucumán for 8 years.

At the age of 19, he began working in the production of numerous advertising films for multinational companies such as: Coca Cola, Burger King, Verizon, Dell, Movistar, Hellmanns, Adidas for the main markets in Europe and United States.

In 2008, he shoot his first feature film as a Producer “77 Doronship“, directed by Pablo Agüero, which has its World premiere at  San Sebástian’s International Film Festival, won BAFICI’s Best Direction Award and participated in more than 30 international festivals.

To date, he worked in more than 20 feature films (fiction and documentaries) in different roles of Production: “Silencios”, “Arroz con leche”, “El notificador”, “A la deriva”, “El día trajo la oscuridad”, “La araña vampiro”, “El amigo alemán”, “The joy tapes”, among others.

He’s President of the Camera of Tucuman’s Audiovisual Industry, Director of Yungas’s International Film Festival and General Producer of  Tucuman’s film festival.

Currently, he’s developing as a Director the documentary “Viaje al cine de lo real”.
